DR AMBARISH HOSPITALISED

 

The sixty plus stalwart of Kannada cinema Dr Ambarish, former MP, former Union minister and currently Minister of Housing in Congress I ruled Karnataka state government was hospitalized on Friday evening for breathing problem.

 

Within one hour of Dr Ambarish reaching Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru he was given treatment by Dr Satish and Dr Ranganath Nayak. It was ascertained lung infection. He was shifted to Intensive Care Unit for regular treatment for ailment. According to sources Dr Ambarish is on ventilator.

 

AMBI TO SINGAPORE

In the as is condition with ventilator and other medical support in a special flight Dr Ambarish, 200 plus films actor, Karnataka Housing Minister was shifted to Singapore Mount Elizebeth Hospital for more advanced medical aid.

The Tamil super star Rajanikanth one of the best friends of Dr Ambarish suggested for this shifting from Bangalore to Singapore. The AIIMS Dr Ranjit Bulwara also recommended this move. The action was taken after consulting the family members by Sumalatha Ambarish on Saturday early morning.

It was a very narrow margin defeat for sandalwood queen Ramya alias Divya Spandana in the Lok Sabha Elections results declared on Friday. Ramya Congress I former MP lost to Janata Dal Secular CS Puttaraju from Mandya. The announcement of Ramya LS poll result was last one among 28 seats from Karnataka. That is because of the narrow margin and there was rumor of recounting.

CS Puttaraju of JDS secured 5,24,370 votes, Ramya of Congress I got 5,18,852 votes while Prof B Shivalingaiah of BJP got third place securing 86993 votes.

None of the film personalities made it to Lok Sabha from the 2014 elections from Karnataka. It was depressing defeat for Geetha Shivarajakumar wife of super star Shivarajakumar from Shimoga constituency.

Geetha Shivarajakumar from JDS ticket secured 2,39,658 votes against the winning candidate Dr BS Yediyurappa of BJP former chief minister of Karnataka. The margin of win for Dr BSY was over 3.50 lakh votes as he secured 6,05,109 votes. Manjunath Bhandari of Congress I from Shimoga placed second secured 2,42,329 votes.

‘UK AND NK’ 50 DAYS

A film made for one section of the audience ‘Ulidavaru Kandanthe’ a winner in multiplex theatres according to director Rakshit Shetty – it is a failure in box office according to producers Suni and Hemanth – has reached 50 days for last Friday.

The Kannada film ‘Simhadri’ has announced new scheme for the second week to grab female audience attention. According to producer RS Gowda of ‘Simhadri’ – 10th of October and 11th October in 140 theatres the film will be shown free for female audience.

Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kichcha Sudeep arrived at the 75days celebrations of ‘Adhyaksha’ on Saturday night at Jnanajyothi Auditorium in Central College and lauded the effort of his colleagues – Nandakishore, Sharan and others in his address.

‘BAHADDUR’ 50

The handsome hunk Dhruva Sarja and pretty heroine Radhika Pandit second successive film ‘Bahaddur’ has reached 50 days in over 75 theatres. The earlier film of the two was ‘Addhuri’ that ran for 100 days.

For ‘Addhuri’ it was debut director AP Arjun and for ‘Bahaddur’ also it is debut director Chetan Kumar. A film by RS Productions has clinched the most wanted success. According to one estimate in last 50 days the gross earnings for the film is over Rs.15 crores.


SINGH BABU - BHAVANA KCA-BB

It is ‘Bal Bhavan’ Bhavana and KCA Singh Babu. The Karnataka government clearing the names for three prominent positions has given opportunity for actress Bhavana to head the prestigious Bal Bhavan and SV Rajendra Singh Babu to head Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

Another person Vijayalakshmi Urs heads the Kanteerava Studios, another prestigious film connected institution. The government order came in to effect from 24th of November, 2014. It is for a period of 18 months for all three personalities to show their expertise and make improvisation.
